North Bay's future depends on economic growth, investment, and job creation. We need to provide strong opportunities for our citizens, our families, our children and grandchildren to achieve their goals and build our city well into the future.
Housing and Community Development
Housing affordability remains one of the biggest challenges facing our community and I have the experience to continue the growth of this sector.
Streamlining Development
If we want housing and investment, City Hall, council, city staff and the private sector all must be partners in development, collaboration and work as a team to find success.

The development of City-owned lands in the downtown core presents an exciting opportunity.

Commitments
Leadership. Accountability. Growth.
Dave loves North Bay and wants to see it grow. He was born and raised here. His parents, Mario and Teresa, gave him and his siblings, Gerry, Vince and Maria, a wonderful childhood full of family and friends. An Italian home like theirs was always full of laughter and activity, food and fun.
In their downtime, Dave and his partner Mary love making the most of everything North Bay has to offer. You can often find them out on Trout Lake enjoying boat rides or taking their dog, Ella, for walks along the Kate Pace Way.
A graduate of Scollard Hall, Dave then attended Fanshawe College in London, where he studied marketing. Upon graduation, he was hired for the management training program with Toronto Dominion Bank and spent several years moving through numerous cities and up the management chain. Dave learned a lot about finance and working with individuals and groups in those years. In 1993, he was thrilled to return to North Bay to continue his banking career.
Dave's roots, education and early career in finance shaped the collaborative, results-driven approach he brings to public service.
North Bay is at an important crossroads. The decisions made by the next Council will shape our city's future for years to come. Dave is ready to bring 15 years of municipal experience, dedication, and a collaborative approach back to the Council table.
Throughout his time in office, Dave worked with multiple Councils, two Mayors, community organizations, businesses, and senior levels of government to help move North Bay forward. He believes local government works best when people focus on solutions, respect different perspectives, and work together toward common goals.
With a 96% attendance record during his years serving on Council and various boards, Dave has demonstrated his commitment to showing up, doing the work, and being accountable to taxpayers.
Now is the time for experience, stability, and proven leadership.
North Bay has incredible potential.
By combining experience with innovation, smart financial management with strategic investment, and collaboration with strong leadership, we can continue building a city that works for everyone.
Let's focus on the business of running the city, creating opportunities, and delivering results for residents.
Experience. Stability. Results. Let's get to work.
"Meaningful Change in North Bay starts with Experience. Stability. Results."
